How does these two on-line programs work?
  1. The course Florida Real Estate Brokerage is course is composed of 18 unit/Chapters. This course has four sections: Reading Assignment, Interactive Exercises, Reading Comprehensive Quiz and a Unit Exam.
  2. Each unit/Chapter has a Reading Assignment. The course is designed with learning objectives, so as the student goes through the Reading Assignment, the student knows what the objectives are.
  3. Every Reading Comprehension Quiz needs to be completed with a score of 100%, Each Unit Exam Quiz is also needed to be completed with a minimum score of 90%. This is the most important part of the course, because as the student works through these modules it demonstrates mastery of the course.
  4. A student can move onto the next unit without passing the previous one but the student will not be able to access the final exam until everything is completed and passed.
  5. Each course has a timed hour and a half final exam. The exam is multiple choice with four choices. The student must score a 75% or more on the end-of-course exam.
  6. The satisfy the 60 Hour post requirement for brokers, the student must satisfactory complete the two 30 hour courses for the renewal.

Information the student needs to know before taking this course:
  1. Once the course is purchased the student CAN NOT get a refund.
  2. This on-line course does not need a textbook and a textbook is not included, but the student can purchase the textbook that mirrors the course. The book is called Real Estate Brokerage - A Management Guide and is item item #FL017 on the Cooke Bookstore. The textbook sells for $47 plus sales tax and shipping and handling.
  3. If the student fails the On-Line end-of-course exam, the student has to wait more than thirty day or less than one year before the student can retake the end of course exam for that particular course. The student is able to have access to review the course until the student takes the end of course exam again at the 30 plus days waiting period. If the student fails the second time the student will need to retake the on-line course again and the student will need to pay the full tuition fee again for the course the student failed.
  4. The student can work through the courses at the student's convenience. Once the student signs up for a course it is good for one year.
  5. The courses are NOT designed to be printed for security purposes and copyright regulations.
  6. At the time of registration for the On-Line Distance Learning Course, the student will receive an e-mail from Dearborn's RECampus, verifying the student's registration for each course the student registers for.
  7. Every On-Line student must agree to the following affidavit: "I certify that I personally completed all assignments and have not duplicated any portion of the end-of-course examination". 8. Before taking the on-line final end-of-course exam, it is important the following technical information be review by the student to eliminate as much as possible any technical issues that might arise.
  9. Upon completing each individual course, RECampus posts for Cooke Real Estate School a daily report of student's final grade report. The staff at Cooke reviews this report daily, Monday through Thursday, and mails the completion certificates to those students who have successfully received a grade of 75% or better. Allow three to four business days to receive this completion certificate.
